Have also heard that there may be another local kingston player that is very close to signing with one of the SFL teams in 2010. Not a done deal just yet but this will def surprise a few down the south-east. by all reports the guy can play!! Recruiting Adelaide players all the way down there couldnt be easy, alot of money may be needed to get even more players. Maybe Richards is there on a 2-3 year plan and wont recruit for a premiership straight away.
Definitely talking to Trevor Rigney, but so is half of SA, although the Saints dont mind splashing the cash. Will miss Stratham but are a side that has played finals for the last 5 or 6 years and probably need some stronger leadership which Tim will no doubt bring. With no coach appointed at either Lucindale or Keith at this stage they would be struggling with any recruiting. Both these teams have been top 3 for a number of years. May be big opportunity for Kingston next year.

Was Nathan Clark not re appointed or did he not want to coach again in 2010?

Well he'll fit in nicely down at the burr, maybe him and the ex coach weise will share more than just a locker togethor ...that was the very reason Darren Dean left after only one season.

footyislife I have heard the same thing regarding a player from Kingston going to an SFL team. He might be buying a house down that way and has a lot of friends at a certain club.

Lets just say that the player has been spending alot of time in Adelaide recently and i know for a fact he wasnt training on Wed night. He still lives up there with his wife and child but is def looking at moving to Adelaide, and is talking to an already strong SFL team. One thing i will say is apparently he can take a great screamer!! How have you heard the same rumour JW?? The player has only told a select few people as i'm aware?

The only time i've ever been wrong...was when I thought I was wrong!!!
footyislife wrote:Well KK MY daughter has singing lessons with this player and he told her that he wouldnt be moving and if he did he would go back to the saints anyway
Well soon she will be singing the Morphett Vale Emus song FIL So you must have heard that he was moving?? there is know way he would still play for the Saints if he has a gig on Fri and Sat night in Adel and lives there. Sorry mate, everything points to my rumour becoming fact. Hopefully the current player Kingston are talking to will replace Lincon Sharpe but i'm not quite sure if he will sign. He kinda likes playing with his brother and Panther.
Well kk isnt this player your talking about coming off a bad broken leg . Will be a huge effort to get back to playing footy next season any way .I spoke to the kingston brains trust after you leeked this one ,they didnt think lincoln would make it back until his 12 months are up??????

All true FIL, he did break his leg at the end of the season and know doubt he prob wont be doing a pre season anywhere. He will play in 2010, the break wasnt a 12 month injury. From what i hear his intentions are to head to Adelaide and play in the SFL. Only time will tell. Least now Kingston know and maybe the coach can get in touch with him and keep him a listed player for 2010.
Big signing for the saints TREV RIGNEY is one of the most exciting players to play country footy .The saints will have a very strong fwd line with COOPER, BRAIDWOOD, MAHONEY ,RIGNEY ,SHARPE,and young HYLAND TO throw into the mix ,will be hard to hold all of them at once .
