For those of you who keep Blackbooks - way2bet.com/blackbook
Free, and can keep as many as you want.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't've Grub stepped in already?

There was absolutely nothin in it - surprised there was a protest.
Stick with Our Cannavaro though if he attempts a race of a similar grade next start.

With the autumn carnival coming up, thought I'd share my thoughts for some of the feature races- most of them at large odds.
Admittedly, there's a lot of uncertainty with pre-post markets so far out from the races, but it's a bit of fun backing something at a huge price.

Would be good to get a bit of discussion about people's thoughts.

Blue Diamond
Delago's Lad - $17
Satin Shoes - $19
Bossdon City - $81
Helmet - $81
Fast Shanti - $81

Australian Guineas
Masquerader - $21
Retrieve - $26
Skilled - $31
Zelsnitz - $61
Glenstal Abbey - $71
Southern Speed - $101
Ice Creme - $251

Newmarket Handicap
We're Gonna Rock - $41

Australian Cup
Cabeza - $61

Skilled is a blacky of mine so I'll have to back it .. Just depends whether I take that price or punt on a positive movement.

I have no idea (could have concluded the sentence there) whether it's a decent chance or not.

Like A Guest is my bet of the day, next at Swan Hill.
(The main reason I was keen on Thompson in the JC before seeing the prices)

Can get $1.90 fixed with a few bookmakers.
Should be too good for these.

Had the winners of the first two legs of the Swan Hill quaddie (both one out, mind you 8) ).
TOOT TOOT! Now to get the next two legs home.

You had Butterfly Maiden one out in the quaddie? Thats a good selection at $20 Dodgey.

For some reason I thought it was a big chance in an open race with a light weight on its back after the claim.

Said to myself i'll put it in one out, thought about it and said na that's silly, then just bit the bullet and went ahead and put it on its own.

Means sweet FA now, what a day!

Only return was from backing an odds-on fave (Like A Guest).

Geez dodgy, should've taken another ticket and gone wider.... 100% of $5k would've been handy!

Yeah not wrong Willyman.

An extra couple of runners would've been handy.
If I put 5 in each of the last two legs I probably would've found the quaddie.
