LOL pretty sure the supporter base was bare bones during the Hill era...we dont get a chance to overthrow the coach, the board beats us to it!

Think we were still around the 3rd or 4th highest attendance figures, but there's no doubt that's increased since he moved on and we've started winning more than losing - Would be the same at all clubs I'd imagine. Our membership levels have been much higher too since we became more competitive.

Have to agree with that South's Crowds have dropped off significantly since the glory days of the 60's!!!!!
FOURTH ESTATE wrote:Don't want Fuller or Collins both have no idea???? Glenelg's game plan was bad enough with Massie let alone these two.
What do I care anyway as I won't be rejoining as a member because of their weak board effort with the Cow$.
If Andrew Jarman gets the job which he should have after Mickan I might think about it. At least they might have skill level above D6 Amateur level.
Saw more skill level at the SAAFL D4 GF this year between Plympton & Brahma Lodge and that was at a higher level than what the Bays have displayed for most of the year!!!!!!!
Glenelg reserves would comfortably beat both those sides.
dont think so! would be a draw current ressie & ass coach of the bays are former A & B Grade coaches of Plympton - they said so

OK, it's down to 2.
Andrew Jarman, Graham Campbell and Rick MacGowan.
Pooh - that's 3, ok, it's down to 3 then.
Maxy you forgot to mention Trevor Hill I noticed his name was dropped into the conversation could he be the wild card people are talking about?
But that would then be 4, which is twice as many as 2 and that is what the club has narrowed it down to, so 3 is ok because Rick MacGowan was a late comer* (according to his wife).

Attractive attacking football = Wins & Crowds!!!!
plus id rather watch an attacking game plan - even if it meant we were losing by 10 goals
theres nothing worse than playing some of the crap massie had us playing.
playing attacking footy means less emphasis on skills which we lacked greatly in
Need to have the skills to get the ball and deliver it properly and kick goals, something we have lacked in badly going back to the 2009 finals series!!!!!
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.
Let that be a lesson to you, Port Adelaide Sturt. & Norwood You don't beat Glenelg in Grand Finals and get away with it.
