I could be wrong but aren't these guys enlisted mostly to play in the 'Ravens' reserves as opposed to playing in the 'Ravens'?

Agreed. The problem he will have with a such a big name is the same that has occurred to many other high quality ex AFL players over the many years. Somebody will want to make a name for himself and belt him or at some stage he will get picked off with a big present in a pack or off the ball. Not advocating this under any circumstances but purely pointing out the long history and the reality of this happening to high quality players

Goodluck doing it too Tucky. He wasn't born with ears like that. They are developed after hours and hours or MMA and boxing training. Can fight!!

I have played div 1 footy for the last 12 years, and have played against a fair few ex sanfl/afl players in my time. I can't ever remember anyone "trying to make a name for themselves" by belting one of these guys. In a few cases, it's been the so called "star" that has thrown their weight around.
Don't think that sort of stuff happens in div 1 buddy. I'm sure he'll be fine. If you can, please let us know of any examples where this has happened. He may cop a few tags during games, but I'd be very surprised if any king hits or whatever happen.

Tuck is one tough tough unit good luck to anyone who has a crack I would pay to see it!! Great for amatuer footy to get a star rather than them all heading to the country! Hopefully a few other clubs take notice and rather than silly match payments a secure job for the future might be a way to entice these players and plenty more jobs in Adelaide than the country towns!!
How did Goodwood get onto Tuck? Surely his partner must have connections to the Saints for him to agree to play for them....
May want to give Ian Perrie a call to find out how much attention opposition are going to dish out and the abuse from the uneducated supporters out there...

Don't worry, when the next drought comes all the talent will head back to the city
Got told yesterday Portland favorite son Jarrod Wareing may be looking elsewhere possibly to lower division club close by after a dispute with coaching staff in regards to their expectatioins of him during pre season after claiming he won't be seen until late Feb. Fair enough by Portland if they want to tighten the screws with the move up to D1. Same bloke told me Daniel Macadam has contacted the maggies and is hopeful of joining the new academy squad with training. Can anyone shed any light?
