Thompson denied clearance from Angle Vale to Smithfield!!

He would be a very handy recruit for Smithfield!!
I rated him very highly playing for Angle Vale last season!!!

why not?

Volunteers are spread thin running the seniors. It would be nice to gather a separate team dedicated to implementing junior teams.

so your excuse is that is because of minimal volunteers. where as i figured youd say not enough kids

if ttg & modbury can have 4 teams per age group houghton could fill 1 maybe? i mean where are your houghton team mates sending there kids to play?

anyways i think its a credit to the club and players they can stay a float and strong without juniors
great catch

Well, you won't know if there is enough kids until you have a group of people organise to implement juniors.

Players send their kids to the surrounding clubs.

probably has to do with club fees, small thing to sort out but would be a good pick-ups.

You do need a separate group to run the juniors, we had lost ours but are now starting to get things back together.
Personally I believe clubs should be limited to 1 team in each age group, unfortunately that's not the case.
When you struggle for numbers in juniors and the team gets a flogging each week its nearly impossible to keep
the kids keen. Therefor a lot of kids give the game away and go to soccer or other activities that they can win at.
Its More than a Game !!!

i agree 2 sides are more than enough for each age group, excess kids should be sent elsewhere

if u build it, they will come
