plympton made 7/244... Naismith batted all day for 84no. Pommeroy made 80 aswell.... great effort considering we were 5/92 at tea...

Thats a fantastic effort and it will be hard to chase down.

Coro did well to get their score to 168 today, after getting off to a quick start and being 1/60 off about 9 but then slumped to 6/90 and some questionable umpiring helped them build a couple of partnerships.

Game certainly in the balance with us being 2/38.

Should be a good days play tomorrow. Hope tomorrow's atmosphere is as good as today's was. Both sides supporters were vocal and made the day rather enjoyable.

Coverking for 17 & B. Christie for a duck.

Some very questionable decisions yesterday!!!!!
If the decisions went out way Corro would have been bowled out for maybe just over 100. Had corro captain caught behind & lbw (both not out), coulter lbw & caught behind (both not out).
Not being biased here but IF we happen to get up today, I feel sorry who the opposition side we happen to play, because you will be facing some very quick bowling from Scott Luders. 11 wickets in the last 2 innings.
Yesterday was the quickest ive seen him bowl and anyone from this comp, hit jai flush on the helmet, left a nice seam mark on his face, retired hurt! Hit coulter flush on the elbow, and smashed his helmet with a bouncer (yes the helmet peek broke off)

Hope to again see a very big crowd at WYC park because the atmosphere was great. BBQ was on all day.

Glad you raised that because surely you guys have to throw him the new ball with with Hopkins , depending on the conditions of course. Would be a very dangerous opening attack ! Sorry but your other opener looked very pedestrian yesterday and Coromandel treated him with contempt.

12 wickets mate ;)

One stage had 10 overs 3/2 with a retired hurt, and a couple other not outs  Definitely happy a ball didn't get edged to second slip yesterday off him haha

WYC passed Coro 8 down. This was a cracker of a game to watch. Both sides gave everything, both supporter groups were right into it and the game went down to the wire.

Lourens, Bruce and the Cheeks all bowled a tight line and length all day, I don't remember there being too many bad balls in the whole innings. A couple of sitters were dropped but the catch taken to get Ben McCormack out (not too sure who it was) was probably the best catch I've ever seen taken in this comp.

Yesterday the game was set up for us by a fiery spell from Luders - I think he hit the helmet about 4 times and ended up with 4 wickets.

All in all we got some great weather, a fantastic game to watch and a few beers were downed. I can think of a few worse ways to spend a weekend!

Cheers mate. What a game hey? Pretty bloody intense all through day two. Good luck to all playing in the grand final next week.
