I'm not officially part of this thread, but I weighed myself the day after the amateur league season finished last year and was 98.4kgs, which had come after an injury that kept me out of footy and physical activity in general for around 12 months. Just found myself drinkning and eating while I couldn't play or do any running, but after weighing in this morning after a decent summer (which included a trip to Bali with no food/drink spared) I'm down to 89.5kg. Still got a fair way to go (old playing weight was around the 80-82kg mark), and it's only 9kg in 6 months, but happy with what I've been able to do.
Couple of things that I've done that may help:
*Grapes. Got this idea from reading some things Geoff Huegill said about his weight loss. When he retired and wanted a snack, would put a sausage roll in the microwave. Changed that to carrying a small bag or grapes around with him everywhere. I've done the same thing, only taken grapes with me to work (apart from a ham/salad sandwich for lunch) and has worked a treat.
*Riding the bike. May seem obvious, but for people who physically aren't able to run, it really is easy to do while you're watching TV, and works. You don't need to have sweat dripping off you to burn calories.
*Limit the grog. I love a beer or ten, but was fooled into the low-carb beer was better for you when it clearly wasn't helping. Had the whole off March of the grog, survived, and feel much better for it. Will still have some decent sessions (especially during footy season) but try to space them out a bit more.
*Don't watch the Biggest Loser. Most unrealistic piece of crap you could ever find.
Like I said, I'm no expert, but it's worked for me (slowly) and I don't think any of it will go back on.

96.2 Kg today.
From my peak weight of 108Kg in 2008, I got down to just under 94Kg in the middle of last year.
This year I am just fluctuating around in the 96-97 Kg range.
I suspect this is as far as dietary change will take me and it is time to get disciplined about using the exercise bike regularly...

114.4 bit surprised as have had my knee in a brace for most of March and very little exercise

Wasn't part of this, but after seeing photos of myself at Christmas, started my own "Fitness Campaign".
Since January 17th, I have lost 18.9 kgs. Gone from 104.1 kgs now at 85.2 kgs. Set myself a goal to get to 85 kgs by November, with 200 grams to go, I might rethink my goal and now aim for 80 kg.
Nothing out of the ordinary, just portion control. Didn't really eat bad (ok, occasionally I did) but I ate a lot of it. I also exercise everyday. At the start, I walked 3kms in just over 30 minutes. I'm now doing 6 kilometre runs in around 35.
It's addictive, once you push through the first 2 months, you just want to keep on doing stuff. Will be aiming to do the City to Bay in under an hour. And believe me, we go waterskiing a lot as a family, I would ski for 3 minutes then drive the boat for the rest of the day. Now, I'm fighting the kids to keep having another turn. Fitness level is back and I feel great.

Lost less than 1kg this month to 119.3 but now under 120 which was my 2011 goal weight.
Will adjust my goal now to 114 which will be a 30kg loss since I started.
