From memory it was a 3 year deal starting last year on the back of a ton of performances where he looked like a fat park cricket hack but then peeled off a shit or shine hundred at home during the Strikers yearly obligatory game where they forget how to play.

I reckon he is so widely condemned on here because he shares the physique as so many SA Footy posters and we probably believe he does a job that we our selves could do...Just go out and swing for the fences and then bowl one over of slow medium offices that don't turn.

I too am a member and I think it's comparing apples to oranges, in a game of footy you can get back out there and make a difference, once you've batted there's not a lot you can do to change things.
T20 is hit and miss, there's no point beating yourself up over it and I'd sooner see a good vibe amongst the playing group which I'm sure Dizzy would've installed and it's probably contributed to our success so far despite having a side that on paper looks a lot poorer than others.
I just think you only come on here to take swipes at either the Redbacks or the Strikers, enjoy life mate, I'm sure they're all out there trying and failure doesn't result in the world ending.
Find some positives once in a while.

Was thinking the same thing. Every time you watch Klinger bat you think how much the Strikers/Redbacks could do with him.

Especially how poor Ludeman and Simmons have been this year!

Has there been any nail biting finishes this year (maybe one?), compared to past years been a lot of boring games.
