I cant see Port smashing the Eagles especially with the fwd line Eagles have. Darling has been exceptional last half of the year and especially when JK was out injured. West Coast 5-1 at Adelaide Oval and 3-0 against Port. I think it will be a cracker of a game. Just dont know who could go with Kennedy. Saying that im not sure which Eagle can go with Robbie Gray.
See Nic Nat was teaching Vardy how to take on Ryder. West Coast should just roll the dice and play Nic Nat
The key for WC will be contested marking. When they have won at Adelaide oval, they have dominated the air.
The main concern for Ports backline will be who plays on the resting ruckman. The match up for Petrie up forward will be a concern.
As much of a concern for WC will be if the ball hits the ground inside Ports Fwd50. Shepard will most likely go to Gray resting forward, but it's the match up for Wingard and to a lesser extent Neade/S.Gray that concerns me. I think Wellingham will have to come back in to play on one of them.
MacKenzie on Dixon will be the other key and how much can McGovern and Barrass can get in his way.
I think if WC match Port in tackles and inside 50s, WC will win.

Adelaide by 28
Geelong by 4
Sydney by 55
WC by 8 points
3 of those games I consider a flip of the coin - Go for Crows through home ground advantage and question marks over the Giants in big games. Geelong have the experience and keep their nerve at the death usually. West Coast hitting their straps at the right time of year perhaps and don't fear AO.
In the other game, I reckon Sydney are in better form than the previous meeting between these two, while Essendon lose Hooker and Ratz only looks about %80 to me. Hope Im wrong, because the Bombers have played a good brand of footy this season.

weird, was chatting to a bloke at work whose wife lined up earlier in the week (they are old) only to be told they were sold out, so had to get his daughter to go online and get two tickets not close to each other

I think a heap of tickets were just released in the last hour or two.
Probably tix previously bought where payments fell through. Its a common occurance.

Re: Finals Week 1
That makes sense, I know someone trying to buy tickets late last week could only find single seats

Re: Finals Week 1
I just tried again, still plenty of great tickets for tonight. None available for tomorrow nights game though.
Dont think they were from credit card declines as it appears parts of whole blocks mainly on the wing.

Plus the opposition usually send back heaps at the last minute. GWS would of been allocated a couple of thousand and they have bugger all support. Sold in blocks so perhaps that's why several seats are next to each other

Re: Finals Week 1
Righto, $50 on Crows @ $2 (Ladbrokes) and $50 on GWS (Sportsbet) @$2.45 for a bit of interest.
Worst case is break even, but GWS getting at least 24 up then getting rolled would be a dual collect and happy days.

Rumour that Sloane has passed a fitness test and Adelaide might stump up the $20k to get him in the side*
