Might have been an AFL imposed penalty. Instead of giving up draft picks you are forced to recruit players (loose term) like Vickery.

that really sucks. Was happy with how seedsman performed though, so it may not hurt the team that much, but it sucks for smith personally.

You would think sloane for smith might be the only change to the prelim team

I think it will hurt more against a side who is stronger at the contest across half forward than GWS was. Going to miss his run and 60m kick in the prelim.

If Clarkson turned Vickery into a champ he should give coaching up and spend his time turning water into wine.

does anyone else think Jenkins should be dropped. 7 posessions, 1 mark , 3 turnovers and 1 joe the goose goal. surely a bloke on 500k+ per year dishing that up cant keep holding his spot. It would be ok if he crashed packs like a Dixon but he is soft for a bloke that big.
