An electronic scoreboard in country footy Surely there are more appropriate things to spend money on at the grass roots level of country footy. I wonder how the ladies in the canteen feel about wasting the thousands of $$$ they work there arse off to bring in being spent on fibre optic cable to service a scoreboard of all things
There is also that point of view. I believe it was heavily backed by a club sponsor, although the exact cost of it won't be made public.
Apparently it goes alright though
Each to their own. I guess it depends on the priorities of the club.
A little late on this (working away) but congrats to Pym and Taylor both deserving winners. Just wounding has anyone ever gone and done the unthinkable and won the mail medal, premiership and got BoG all in the same year? Whitwell or whiskey maybe? Can anyone conform for us

Have heard the same. Couldn't confirm this though.

Kirk Heberle... Spoke to Valor Thach today and its all up in the air at the min. He has his money on the old fossil hanging the boots up. Highest bidder may acquire his services.

When it comes to winning you need the skill and the will

Joss confirmed his retirement from playing in the paper after the Rams' elimination final loss.
He said he was keen to coach the team again but it was up to the club committee to reappoint him.

And Hahndorf. I've heard there is also a digital scoreboard at Cambrai but haven't seen it personally.
The money men at United are pretty smart people, I'm sure they've done the sums and are confident it will increase the cash flow into the club in the long term. My initial reaction to it was that it seemed excessive given the amount of times it will be used each year. I must admit, I have no idea of what it costs, its capabilities in terms of advertising or how often it will be used. The facilities under the tower are arguably the best in the comp, so I think I'll crawl back into my hole now.

Haha. I think it's important to note Sharmans purchased the scoreboard, the club leases it from them.
