Both dramatically overpaid IMHO.

Not sure on the Longies rumour but Virginia are yet to reappoint their coach from what I understand. Would be surprised if any deals have been done there yet.

Great to see that the 2014 SANFL Country Footy champs will be in Kadina, a great central location for most zones - that and a great big new footy club facility. Although there is a bit of conjecture about the format, no-one will be complaining about the venue!

Ever a chance to be held at one of the grounds in the APFL...?

Depends on what sort of bid the council puts in yeah? Don't the regional councils bid to host it etc?

As far as I'm aware, the respective football leagues/associations bid to host it - i.e. when it was held in Pirie it was the business of the SGL and when it was held in Berri the logistics were left up to the RFL - with SANFL help of course

I won a "Tiger of the week" trophy once with the Boston Football Club, i think it was for attending all the trainings....
