It’s to do with being a paid up member if you’ve attended all games or you have the home match ticket and attended all home games .Booney wrote:Must be going well if they can give free tickets away.
Well Booney must he’s a port fanwhybother wrote:So you think someone actually follows the AFL seconds teams ???!!
I like the idea of the incentive to go to all games and get free finals tickets, but what about people like me who pay for a home game membership but can’t go to every home game because of shift work commitments? I pay the same amount (to support my club) knowing I can’t go to every game. But it is what it is, heck I’m just happy I can go and watch my team in the finals (which is much more rare for a South fan).MJP1993 wrote:It’s to do with being a paid up member if you’ve attended all games or you have the home match ticket and attended all home games .Booney wrote:Must be going well if they can give free tickets away.
It’s also called rewarding fans who go every weekI’m guessing the AFL seconds teams don’t do this seeing you follow one you’d know .
No offence
Just curious, what section will you be in? Just interested to know if the free tickets are in the blocked out areas for general admission.MJP1993 wrote:Got my free ticket I’m ready to yell out Eagles !!!
Lol- I must be excited
Might be to do with contact tracing if they need too.whybother wrote:I am in section 135. I didn't ask for it, the system just gave it to me. Since there prob wont be a lot there, I will move to where-ever
I think it is similar in the SANFL. Cooper Sharman recently signed a two year contract with the Saints so he wouldn't be allowed back, but for others I don't know. Maybe they wouldn't take the opportunity for fear of missing out on a contract.Mr Fuller wrote:Interesting that Matt Parker who was taken in the mid-season draft by Richmond has been cleared by the club and the WAFL to front up for South Fremantle to play in their final series. Apparently the WAFL have some arrangement whereby any WAFL player that is selected in the mid-season draft has the right to return to their original club to play finals.
Anyone know whether the SANFL have such a rule?
You can imagine that Norwood would eagerly welcome back Callow from Hawthorn while the Eagles would benefit from Cooper Sharman. You can't imagine either AFL club would permit this given the desire for their squad to remain injury free and Covid border restrictions would probably make it impossible......but we can dream
