North took it up to them in the second term, but the Dogs always had the answers. The second half was all Centrals as they just dominated - and had the ton up on the 3 quarter time siren. They kept the foot on the pedal in the last quarter and ran away with a big win.
It’s been a long time since I’ve seen Centrals play that dominantly! At no stage did they put the cue in the rack and just kept attacking all game. Hopefully we see that more often this season.
That also brings the Good Friday ledger between the two sides to 7-2 in favour of Centrals, including 4-2 at Prospect!
And that's where the ledger will stay.
North wishes to retain a regular GF game at Prospect; hence we played a second GF fixture in a row as an away fixture.
So as of next season we will find another opposition to play a GF fixture at the Ponderosa.
I am o/s and missed this game, but going by stats, Kade Dittmar needs special mention. He won't make many BP lists but 11 tackles, 12 clearances show where he is doing his work. Clearly has no idea how to gain an easy possession.
And (having seen his three goals and his stats) Mani Liddy is fulfilling the promise his trial form showed.
With his dash and penetration, he is clearly finding the ball more and is a genuine top 5 Magarey Medal place getter this season.

Mani Liddys early season form has been very promising. He’s running harder than ever before and seems to of picked up some pace.
Exciting mix with the midfield: Liddy Grant Chisholm Dittmar with Sharp and Barry to back up.
