Whilst in theory I agree I think we still win.
Saying that I think we win big or lose nothing in between if you get what I mean. Hoff due for his monthly good game, Hartlett simply must perform, Broadbent won't have to worry about anyone so he'll play well. Ollie simply must show last years form, I reckon Gray and Chad might get a handful each, Ebert should only be allowed to Handball wish he could like he can run.
Boak and Charlie still dealt with harshly for mine.
Surely it's a case of shutting down Jack and Dusty and it's game over?? Let Cotchin have his 35 Kane Cornes touches they don't hurt anyone.

Absolutely we will. Carlile I think is done, The big key forward of three years ago play a different game now to back then, up and down the ground and not just plonked inside 50. That means there's not many roles for Carlile. Although, he just went 29 ( in April ) and has one year to run on his contract. He may be the back up next year.
Austin developing (as noted above) might allow us to offer Jonas as trade bait. He's a good size, Austin, at 195 and 85 he's got the right size to be the modern key defender.
With Trengove, Hombsch and Austin as the key big men with Clurey and perhaps one of O'Shea and Stewart as back up ( or Carilie as noted above ) Pittard, Krakouer, Byrne-Jones as smalls with Impey as back up (or forward) we can look to draft some talls for the back half.
No mention of Broadbent or Westhoff in that future plan. They are your trade bait, in a package deal to improve draft positions. Neither will be in your next premiership side. Young plays before Monfries now, so not sure if you signed him or not,but i wouldn't, already have that position covered with numerous options. Carlisle sitting on your list for another year, you'd hope he pulls the pin at end of this season to free up room for someone else.
Impey needs to be more then back up being a pick 21.

Just a number. Brent Harvey is nearly 40 and only a midget, Westie still has plenty of value IMO. Keep him!

I know you're a passionate Port man but comparing Justin Westhoff to Brent Harvey is crazy. Brent Harvey 8 years ago was one of the best players in the AFL.

I meant little value in a trade, but he still has significant value to offer to the side.

Yeah, but Brent Harvey plays 5 minutes of football every 3 weeks now so.....
Westhoff has ZERO trade value.

Package deal to increase your position in the trade period. So to get an earlier 2nd/3rd rounder or something similar. He's worth at least 5 spots higher in the draft. Most likely will have something similar to picks 9, 27, 45. If you could package up a player deal, and get 3 picks inside top 30, that would be a good trade period, doesn't have to be Westhoff.

Actually you lose pick 27 for Dixon trade. Must package that pick 45 to get a late 2nd rounder.

Studies show men grow beards to appear more dominant than they actually are, hate to think how dominant Westhoff really is!
