I was at the baseball haloman, with the mood you were in I thought better not approach! Mung and Mal were a disgrace with their sledging on Saturday night!
SES full strength and will win. Charlton = Straight Sets
I heard the meeting is tonite and our president will not be in attendance and Hammer Holmes will be running the meeting. Lets get a few up there hey! and have our say! Get it all out in the open. Best thing to do!
WAD - Holmes is the OFFICIAL statasticion and a very valuable member of the PLCA, I admire him for all the unpaid work he has done for the assoc and the way he promotes the game. Could play in his day to, bowled darts and was very effective on the turf! Could bat too, remember him putting a six onto the footy changerooms roof at Centenary. Great servent of the game and should be given the keys to the city (or at least the Centenary toilet padlock)
Spoke to Luke Yancic yesterday and he is spitt. Hopeing to play this week hey spitt?
we lost the Bs WCP, couldnt handle Levi's medium pacers. Well done to bystander and the boys but they dont have the talent to go any further. Will be a sad day at the Northern Sat night, they have booked their trophy night in for this SAT. AS THEY KNOW THEIR DESTINY!
Souths Bs and Charlton As should stick to six a side, batting out the overs wouldnt be a problem then!
westcoastpanther wrote:Who won the Tas v Charlton B grade game? Was there a few out of your A grade side on Saturday or was it a full side that just had a shocker?
A's were a couple short, Harder & Baldock had baseball GF. B's bowled Tassies out for 75 and them 5 down, to play Souths this week.

If you'd come over you'd have found me in a super mood. Kids played well, umpiring was fine, Shields just a fraction to good on the day. The flogging you and other morons aroung the place were predicting never happened. Without knowing exactly who you are its a bit tough to tell if you've seen many junior games this year, I'm guessing its probably your first of the season. If you had, you'd have known just how close the two teams actually are. The big difference was simply experience. Shields lads had been there and done it before. Congratulations to Riedy and his Coyotes boys. Well played, and well sledged to both teams. Some of the worst, foul mouthed, disgusting and offensive sledging I've ever heard. Should be more of it. (It also explains why I sent my 2 boys home with mum after the colts)
Spitt, as far as Hogan carrying us into GF, that is way off. Day set up by a quality opening spell from Raz & Rhino, backed up by good catching & groundfielding by all. Yes Hoges had a day to remember, but Chook also on song with bat & ball. Don't make your comments based on stats, as they don't tell the whole story.
It has been brought to my attention that Craig Holmes is in fact our vice president of the association, as i remove my foot from my mouth, i apologise for acusing the man of having nothing to do with the association. I also would like to congratulate him for all the good work he has done past and present. Keep it up fella, your doing a great job.
windsoravenuedemon wrote:Can anyone tell me Craig "hawkeye" Holmes' position in the association this season? pretty sure it's "spectator" When will this guy just get Austar and watch the games in south africa and leave us alone. you've buggered up port lincoln cricket enough fella, keep your f**king nose out of it. I didn't agree with what C.Reidy did in the GF last weekend, but he was the captain and I'm pretty sure it's up to him to make the decisions. If we won, less would have been said, the issue maybe should have been dealt with prior to the game starting as he would have known of the situation for at least a few days.
Well, what a turn around WAD, what will tomorrow bring???
bystander - probably more sulking about waybacks A's not making the finals! Best of luck to the lads who are left, enjoy it and if you win please take as much care of the premiership shield as I did, It looks almost brand new again (needed a slight refurb!)

I'm sure you Windsor Avenue lads will be back bigger and better next year WAD. You and Scoob might get to open the batting and the bowling together The way Waybacks colts keep coming through you guys will be back soon. If not you could always merge with Tasmans, when they go bankrupt at ravendale atleast they'll have a clubrooms then.

Interesting race with a couple of the favoured horses drawing outside. Lincoln Sea drawing nicely could see him start favourite. The Gow White / Axon combination looms as a bit of a smoky here. Yarterbery was an impressive winner Tuesday, but probably not suited by the 2 alley.
WCE - nah nothing really mate, muzza trained with us at ungarra last night, but he's just working up there pretty sure he is playing for wirala (however you spell the place) so i dont think there's anything goin on there, pretty hard training to and he nearly got through it all!
UY have signed alan jones from port lincoln, well thats what i heard can anyone confirm?
