Can argue that, however you need to replace these players and that puts some serious pressure on your football department to deliver some gems, if they get it wrong it could be a large hole approaching.

By losing Greenwood, Jacobs and CEY you lose three handy covers for any loss of talent in the top side so you're now having to play the kids, you don't have a choice so you now need Gaulluci and Poholke to step up and you probably have to play Gibbs and MacKay all year regardless.
It's what you need to do, but it makes you more vulnerable.
If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.

Geez what is most worrying is that Roweys list is looking fairly accurate. I that concern me the most.

CEY offered 3 years: Brisbane football boss David Noble confirms the Lions have offered Adelaide midfielder Cameron Ellis-Yolmen a three-year deal. "We'll put some paperwork in for Cam (Ellis-Yolmen) on Friday," said Noble on Telstra AFL Trade Radio. "We want to continue to add a bigger body to our midfield, so we will look to lock in Cam for a three-year deal."
I apologise.

Hell, money aside he must really want to get out of the AFC if he's set to go to the Gold Coast of all places.

It's the only side! He wants to stay, Crows aren't coming to the table with $ or years.

If you’re going to get 3-4 years instead of a 1-2 deal you’d go anywhere

He's asking for $700k a year and a 4 year deal, if GC are silly enough to give him that good luck to them.

Yeah it's not a place where guys will go to make them a better footballer, they're a basket case and all a footballer can do is go there and milk a wage out of them.

Greenwood is 27/28, and I doubt he was making good money playing 2nd tier basketball, this next contact is to set him up for life.

Out of all the loses I reckon CEY is the one that might turn out to be a decent player at another club. Every time I’ve seen him at SANFL has always stood out as being a level above the competition. Reckon he might do a Lyons at Brisbane
