But I just saw these 2 links on the SANFL thread.
Hamley losing 4 of their best players
Stribling, Duncan and Thach to Kaniva-Leeor FC

http://www.mailtimes.com.au/story/27286 ... ee-others/

Dowdell to Eastlake FC
http://m.canberratimes.com.au/sport/act ... 1wopz.html

Those 3 + that Seb that are going to kaniva, there weekly payments would be $4,000 a week on just those 4 players! hardly worth it in my opinion.

Will Adelaide Plains League be a 6 team league after next tuesday?
I think leagues like the Barossa and the SAAFL are allot better for the development of juniour players.

Virginia looking at pulling the pin?
Id say there would be zero chance of any league letting them join this late.
Not sure how changing leagues would be any more beneficial for their juniors.

I think he means folding perhaps, the APFL have some issues with junior numbers across a few clubs, parents send their kids there instead of staying at Virginia etc.

Would the APFL stay if it were only 6 teams?

Hummocks could go either Yorkes or Northern Areas, Balak to North Eastern, Mallala and Two Wells to Barossa, leaving Hamley and Long Plains (who both have had their problems with numbers) with nowhere to go...?

I heard its something like thatch 900, Stribling $1700 and duncan $1200. that is some serious coin $3800 a week. say 15 games to be conservative thats $58,000 just for 3 players. Thats a fair outlay you would want a flag.

You might want to simplify that for the people on here. e.g Snags, Swamp Donkey, kcco

It's okay onsong I'm keeping up this time

Don't know why teams do that. Unless he owes money, let him go. He obviously doesn't want to play there.

Just what we need. Now, to find a good replacement who doesn't want the same wage as a good SANFL player.

Do they exist anymore?
