This also happened in the other semi-final, Walkerville vs Para Hills.

Para Hills watered the pitch on the 2nd week as they were missing district players.

Fantastic to see the Payneham Dukes make it 2 from 2 in the return to Premier League. Batsmen currently firing with 3 different players making tons and the bowlers standing up so far... There is a long way to go, but getting wins on the board early is always important to set the season up.

Sorry but the only enjoyable thing for Payneham is misery.

They are a dangerous side no doubt, and ahve a lot of talent with te bat. Mosey, Heeps, Undies etc are very good players and it looks like some other blokes stepped up for them last game. Bowling was always one of their weaker points, but Gaerthy etc are always a challenge. Will be up there amongst it I feel. Is a long season however.

Those must have been some of the worst conditions for playing cricket on the weekend. I was at Marion Oval and the Sightscreens had to be pushed over as they were moving everywhere including onto the oval. The game finished with no boundary markers as they had all blowen out of place. It was shocking especially with the sand from the trotting track. Still it wasn't a bad game of cricket.
I also heard at Brighton that the Sightscreens blew inside out or something like that.

I think everyone will be hoping that there are no more days like Saturday and Sunday for cricket.
