Shows how important the two Thompson boy's are to United this year. I know others were missing but the brothers' pressure and intensity has been awesome In the matches I've seen.

Couldn't believe the Virginia v United score so I did some digging as I heard the Tigers had some injuries. Here's my list of who I consider A Grade players who didn't play yesterday

C. Holm
K. Thompson
W. Thompson
B. Shimmin
S. Schulz
M. Pym
T. Payne
T. Lynch
T. Gordon
That's half their side that started in Round 2
and throw in handy back ups like
R. Curnow
L. Connor
S. Connor

Hopefully they can get some players back soon or their season will be over

Heard another player went down with a broken ankle yesterday also! Is a real shame cos 6 teams capable of beating anyone on there day makes for an exciting comp. Dont know how long term there injuries are tho? If they can get all those guys back soon, it would have to be a helluva run home....

A number of them should be rolling back into the team over coming weeks, many of those you'd say won't be back until after the association match.

So Matt Higgs to face the tribunal on an attempted striking charge. Reported by the non-officiating umpire's co-ordinator.

He seems to be either watching or officiating in Mallala's match every week.

Higgs reprimanded but found guilty of attempted striking by tribunal.

Would have been an interesting little trial!
