Mitch Swepson also got 69 off 70.

Glamorgan were 7/93 at one point as well!
Bear in mind it’s Div 2 donkey league.
The Redbacks would win every game in Div 2.
I watched a bit of the game and it looked like park cricket

Summed up perfectly Jim ;)

What do you mean he's "going" to be unbearable, he's already there and has been for a long time, i cant stand him and he hasnt made runs for a long time. If it wasnt for Warner we would be saying Marnus needs to go, 1x50 in his last 17 innings just isnt good enough.

We still have 4 unlikeables in our 11, all of them selfish and entitled

Good choice to bring back Jimmy at his home ground, just have a feeling he will have an impact. Still not pleased with the keeper but clearly not going to change it so this is the best side to pick.

Can really only see one change for this test Hazealwood for Boland.

Hopefully our biggest change is in our mindset to just bay big. Need to back the team in.

One thing I will say, lose the ASHES and careers should end.

Would hate to see a farewell tour for individuals if we hand the urn back.

Having said that forecast isn’t good for Sat and Sun in Manchester, we’ll not good for England

I can't recall a Manchester test without lots of rain.

Surely we win the toss this time.

Hope there is enough time for a result and the Aussies win.

If we retain the ashes because of a draw can imagine all the drivel coming out of the English dressing rooms seeing they already believe they should be leading the series

That's a fair batting line up. Carey at 8! There would be a case to say Cummins is the best no 10 in the world.

If you need anymore evidence Dave is a protected specie i present to you the below quote from Pat Cummins. No doubt the bowling line up who apparently knew nothing of the events in SAF are looking after 'their' boy.

-Pat Cummins on the opening partnership
'We'll chat about it but i imagine it will stay the same. Dave's been going really well. At lords he was really impressive."

No Cummins is right Warner did bat well at Lords, he is one of the reason why we won that test, two opening partnerships that lasted at least 20 overs.

He was poor at Leeds and OK at Edgebaston.

The question is who do you replace him with. The fact there was no tour game to see if Renshaw or Harris were viable options to replace his arguably what saved him.

Bottom line he has to step up this test and next or he isn’t getting his farewell test.

Fascinating no spinner. Manchester is a pitch that does spin so shows the little faith they have in Murphy. Serious batting line up though.

He is averaging 28 for the series he is not going really well.

Poor is an understatement in regards to his Leeds performance. We literally played with 10.

What are Smith and Labuschagne averaging? ( It's 31 and 24 )
