7.4 to 1.1 in first quarter wrapped up the game easy 15 goal win in the end
wouldn't be happy at all with 13 or 29 from brahma.......now while people from brahma will say they all struggled these 2 im sure the locals know them well and would hope they both retire dead set useless spuds who think violence and dirty tactics will win them the game the umpires stopped that stuff

The scoreboard at Broadies must've been a goal out - sporting pulse shows a 90 something point win, we all thought it was 102.
(and the Valley folk were just a teensy disappointed with that )
My new Mantra - I am no longer available to things and people that make me feel like shit
We were smashed, outplayed, owned. I could go on, but was so disappointed.
Well done to plympton. Deserved the flag for a fantastic season, and showed us and everyone in div 4 that they were a cut above.
After 3 weeks, tired bodies we needed a fast start and didnt get it. Plympton settled first and cut us apart in the centre. Dunkley played a blinder.
Huge kudos to our side, a great achievement making the gf after promotion in 2012. Hopefully we regroup over summer and give div 3 a crack.
While on that, a huge thanks to a good mate Carey Payne. 5 great years full of individual and club achievements and bringing the side up 3 divisions. All the best in your future endeavours.
Might have been interesting if Carey had stayed at the Lodge having just been promoted to Div 3 with the prospect of playing his old Club Eastern Park if......if they had managed to avoid relegation to Div 4. Both club passed each other destined never to meet perhaps....
Congrats to Plympton. Very talented side. Apart from the obvious jealousy and wishing it was us that took home the trophy, they are a hard club to dislike. They play it hard, clean and fair. Seemingly well structured off the field. Running a tight program down there.
I will be interested to see how both promoted sides fare in D3. From experience, the step to D3 requires sides to be alot more drilled. Structures play a more important role and the skill level is a sharp step up. The depth of quality is key to success. I don't think you will find many average players in the bottom 5-6 of each best "21". No offence intended but I think the quality of the sides that were promoted last year (Scotch and Unley) were a touch better than this year. Plympton and Unley are probably comparable. If there a few leaving Brahma they may struggle but there efforts to get back to back promotions should be commended.
Do we start talking about 2014 yet? Any news on recruits?
Wise man say forgivness is divine but never pay full price for late pizza
First time watching a Div 4 game on the weekend and I must say the Lodge were very disapointing. A lot of heads dropped once they fell behind and they barely took a risk to get back in the game, far too many times they went long down the boundry when they had the chance to bring it in or switch to the other side. They looked good at times when their better players had ball in hand and showed some good movement going forward but their defensive pressure and manning up was non existent.
I thought Bartlett played a pretty good game. Wasn't as damaging and some of the others but he played smart and set a lot of the play up, did his stats and he had 32 kicking 2. Seary, Roach and Dunkley probably the next best.
