Well they are without a doubt the biggest bunch of ferals I have seen in the amateur league. Are there any other contenders?
Maybe the Payneham lads who spit off the balcony?
and how are they feral? what have they done that you have seen yourself?? yeah they give opposition teams a lot of crap but doesnt everyones supporters?

In all honesty though, how many actual incidents have happened out there ? Bugger all, i would say. I havent played there for a few years, but never had any issues after games at all when i did. Sure, during the games their spectators aren't exactly friendly, but whos are ?
Anyone heard anything about Eastern Park being investigated after the GF last weekend. Apparantly they trashed the change rooms, coach was reported etc? Some speculation the SAAFL may not let them go up a grade?

Yes i would think you would know. So no SAAFL investigation at all? My source is an umpire and heard through the umpiring ranks...

i didnt say that... i know there is an investigation regarding a certain idiot player/supporter on the day who approached the umpires at 3 qtr time. but thats fine we dont need ppl like that around...
From what I have heard it is simply an investigation hearing based on individuals challenging an umpire. There has been no talk of the club being kept down at all and I wouldn't think much would come out of the investigation other than maybe some form of punishment to the supporter although not sure what they could do???

Match day official can be fined for not controlling supporters, I think the club can receive a fine too, but sounds like this case is no bloodbath grand final or anything

Well i guess if those white maggots wouldnt cheat all the time there wouldnt be any need for abusing them!!!! hahaha
I said this during the year when this argument came up and I'll say it again. Eastern Park's supporters are loud. What's wrong with that? I cop my fair share at Eastern Park and Para Hills, because both clubs know who I am and probably because I'm a ranga. If you're playing senior footy and can't cop a bit of crap from opposition supporters then go play netball, or tennis where nobody says anything. The horn and other things the supporters on the hill use duirng games up there make for half-decent atmosphere. I hate playing there because the ground is the opposite of what we're used to at Salisbury, but at least there's some feeling, unlike any ground in the parklands.
Same for the Mound Men at Kilburn, so they might give out a bit of lip? Cop it, give a bit back if ya want, and play the game.
I don't have a problem with supporters giving players shit, but threatening other supporters at the game is a problem. Especially when they don't care if kids are there. I definately wouldn't let my family come and watch a game at EP. Even at the final at Salisbury I wanted to tell my missus to go sit in the car rather than the grandstand. EP match official threatened to take off his badge and belt someone. Classy guy.
Boozehound, did Chantrelle play in the GF or was he suspended. He could have curbed the influence of Smith.

Agreed with the threatening other supporters thing mate, not that I have heard much. I was just looking at it from a playing perspective.
Chantrelle played, got third best for Eastern Park I think behind Ashby and Huitema, played across half-forward though from what I've heard.

as far as i heard 2day the supporter is facing a posible suspension it seems the league knows who it was. And if this person cops only one game its all over for him as far as footy goes. and also the committee is looking at giving him a life ban as he threatened a few members saturday... (not for the first time this year)
