Re: HFL Division 1 (Central)
This concept gaining legs with CFL outlining strategic competitions future direction. (super leagues)shoe boy wrote:B&F,
Has your club or clubs been approached regarding a divisional competition based on Hills div 1&2 Southern & Great Southern gaining legs for a 2022 start.
I believe Clubs are being approached directly with expression of interest required, The current leagues would still have a stake hold in Sunday program's with a formation of a controlling executive to run the competition as a whole.
Now we need leadership from leagues and ego's to be put aside for the betterment of football in the future.
In my opinion this could be up and running inside 3 years.

Re: HFL Division 1 (Central)
Anyone heard how Lobey are going to turn 18 points into 8? Viney gone, Osborn done?
Have heard the rumour of Petrenko to the Magpie juggernaut, this was from a Hahndorf official too. Cheney coaching somewhere, haven't been able to confirm where though?
Woods signed a couple of solid Ammo players with SANFL experience.Good ins to match their experienced outs.
What is happening at Lofty, whats the fallout from the Miles Exit?
New ovalis really taking shape, looking fantastic!

What makes you think Viney and Osborn are done - Osborn came second in the goal kicker.Boyohboywowee wrote:Anyone heard how Lobey are going to turn 18 points into 8? Viney gone, Osborn done?

Re: HFL Division 1 (Central)
Played one quarter of footy in the Grand Final, I reckon Lobey better off looking at younger talent than persisting with him. See on clearances Lobey have lost Dylan Hopgood, going back home to Hahndorf. Both Hopgood boys left Hahndorf in pursuit of better things, but didnt last too long away from the nest.DOC wrote:Osborn coaching at Sturt. Could still play some games if he wan ted to.
Any news on HFL board, any new names and movers and shakers that will make a difference?

Re: HFL Division 1 (Central)
They only had 16 points last year. They had 6 players that had points attached to them & they all drop a point for next year so if Osborn doesn't play they'll be fine. If he plays then they'll have to use a couple of senior colts for minus points.Boyohboywowee wrote:Anyone heard how Lobey are going to turn 18 points into 8? Viney gone, Osborn done?

Re: HFL Division 1 (Central)
Just did a bit of research & the 6 points players they had totalled 19 points but didn't all play together in a game, McWaters played 3 B grade games when points were an issue by the looks of it..cracka wrote:They only had 16 points last year. Points allocation for 2020 were
Voight 2
McWaters 3
Dawe 4
Riley 4
Viney 3
Osborn 3
They've announced all have resigned so it will be a juggling act again to fit them all in even when Osborn doesn't play.
