Re: Adelaide Plains Football League
2 year contract at Long Plains a very rare thing,
Unable to retain a playing group is becoming a real issue by the looks of it.

Ash Clifton leaving Angle Vale is a big loss, the lad has a huge ticker on the field.
Interesting that he's off to Central United, as is Adrian Mark, a couple of solid bodies with big engines.

Hearing Balaklava 100% going to North Eastern next year. Big loss for the APFL.

Yeh huge loss however with 21pts at their disposal and current list of 2 being used you would expect a massive amount of imports in 2021.Lightning McQueen wrote:Ash Clifton leaving Angle Vale is a big loss, the lad has a huge ticker on the field.

Re: Adelaide Plains Football League
What needs looking at is WHY are they wanting to move leagues? Even if they vote to stay, this needs serious investigation and fixing. Until the WHY is fixed there will continually be speculation each year if they are shifting comps or not.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

Survey 100 Bute committee members, members, parents and players and you will find out.Mythical Creature wrote:What needs looking at is WHY are they wanting to move leagues? Bute couldn’t get back in the YPFL quick enough

Bute couldn’t get back in the YPFL quick enough
Survey of 100 of Bute members after the minor round they couldn't talk highly enough of how good they were going and how good the flag will be for the club.
The grapes went sour after that.....
Wonder why?

So you have actually been to a game that Bute has played in and asked them what they think about the Plains league?football tragic wrote:Dirty dog wrote:Survey 100 Bute committee members, members, parents and players and you will find out.Mythical Creature wrote:What needs looking at is WHY are they wanting to move leagues? I am involved with under age association football and on a Sunday training session at Ardrossan the Bute parents told me some of the stuff they had witnessed on the Saturday and in thier words was appalling.

I have spoken to their president and coaching panel on several occasions and not once did they say anything against the league,Dirty dog wrote:So you have actually been to a game that Bute has played in and asked them what they think about the Plains league?football tragic wrote:Dirty dog wrote:Survey 100 Bute committee members, members, parents and players and you will find out.Mythical Creature wrote:What needs looking at is WHY are they wanting to move leagues? I think there are faults within every league having been involved with amateur as well as country football in all zones, lots of people are very sensitive when it comes to on anf off field issues in general the behaviuor of players and spectators is far better than 10-15 years ago....people need to accept it for what it it ….amateur football run by mainly volunteers.
