Please explain?
They released a statement.
Absolutely slammed the leagues decision to include AV in the comp and pretty much slammed everyteam South of Balak.
Ultimately said the clubs south of Adelaide make the comp feel like a suburban comp with all the issues suburban comps have from player behaviour to crowd and coach behaviour issue. Said whenever they play a team South of Balak their attendances are down due to the issues and they lose heaps of income because of that. The NEFL feels and is a country comp which they want to be part of.
Which clubs have they been playing south of Adelaide?

Where? If it was the one posted on here it didn't really slam anyone.

Not sure Mallala and United were the intended targets, even though they are south of Balak. Possibly same for Two Wells.
Thought the reasoning was pretty honest, to be fair.
I didn't think it sounded malicious.
Wasn't to malicious was very direct and absolutely pointed blame at one or two of the clubs.
I would think if its get that far they will be a very welcome addition to the NEFL.
They already play cricket in the Stanley comp so both Clare teams, Blyth, Min Man are comfortable with the 30-45minute travel time etc.
What would be the longest trip? BBH or BSR?
Burra is right on an hour whilst Brinkworth, Spalding and Redhill are also right on an hour or slightly over in just slightly different directions.
In cricket Balak already play against Brinky and everyone is comfortable with that trip.
Giving your whole family would be heading to that ground rather than having one grade somewhere, another grade elsewhere I think that is pretty reasonable.
Blue sky thinking, but you could almost completely re-float the region with Leagues such as:
NEW Southern Plains League Mallala Virginia Two Wells United Angle Vale Hamley Bridge Trinity OS (Gawler team, better suited than BL&G) (+ Roseworthy team when population/infrastructure allows for it)
Balaklava to the NEFL, HWE to head to NEFL with Balaklava or YPFL
