Have to agree, showing no intention of being aggressive, Clarke 8 off of 58 says it all

Hussey Run Out for 90.

Awful to watch, but India's tactics are working.
Australia not exactly aggressive and the wickets are falling.
We could easily end up 100 runs behind on 1st Inns.

As soon as the bat is thrown around, wickets will fall quickly, I'll bet. It's easy to say go for the attack, but them doing it is another.

Agreed Australia have batted themselves into a hole, no aggression apart from Katich and even once he got his ton he put the shutters up, albeit against negative bowling, have to take a huge chance now and go for the Doctor, this test and series will be decided in the next hour IMHO

sehwag 8 overs for 15, thats a bloody joke

we have now lost 1/10 in the last 6 overs, thought we were playing for a win

A Gilchrist slog would be handy right now. Can Haddin step up?

****, even White. He's shown himself to be a powerful striker at one day level, at this rate a quickfire 35-40 would be priceless.

Gotta hand it to White and Haddin for this mini-resurgence. One thing our side has managed to do for many years (and with gradually changing personnel) when under the pump is provide stubborn resistance. Many a side would have crumbled for sub-300 by now.

I don't have Foxtel so haven't been able to take note of Haddin's keeping, but as far as his batting is concerned, i think he's our best choice. He's a fair way above all the other w/k's in the Sheffield Shield as far as i'm concerned. Really hope he can get a big score soon though, he seems to regularly get starts but not be able to go on with it.

I think with the last two wickets, the phrase "fortune favours the brave" come to mind.

Ugh Haddin gone, sounds like a bizarre dismissal (I'm not watching the telly atm). Went to pad the ball away and it spun back to clip his bat which was being held limply in the other hand (according to cricinfo). Caught by Dravid.

Crucial 52 run partnership between he and White though.

The bounce of the ball I'm thinking what did it for Haddin. He would not have thought the bat would have got near the ball from what I can tell.
