Was discussing this with a mate today, and he said you don't even need an account with UBet to get that particular promotion. Using the "Tappy" method applies the promotion to Cash Bets. https://help.ubet.com/hc/en-us/articles ... BET-Tappy-

I never agreed to it, but I have it. They give me inflated odds at certain times, but once a week, they give me free bets based on what I’ve bet.
Last 2 weeks, $44 and $33 in free bets. I get them on Wednesday

I noticed both of last two Saturdays Sportsbet has given me extra Powerplays .. 16 first week and about 8 last week. Didn’t give me any heads up, they were just there.

He's being unreasonable.

He placed a 3 leg multi that included:

Leg 1: Player A to win Norm Smith
Leg 2: Player B to win Clive Churchill Medal
Leg 3: Player A to win NS and Player B to win CC

Clearly Leg 3 implies Legs 1 and 2 have already won, so he shouldn't get the multiplier.

Dusty Martin ($8) and Billy Slater ($8) = 64s, not 4,096.

TAB have offered to pay him out at 128s and he's rejected it and taken them to court.

It is clearly an error that the machine accepted his bet.
Their Ts&Cs state that errors are to be void.

Furthermore, he clearly knew it was an error, as he placed several bets covering a range of different options for players A and B. He knew the payout was incorrect and was trying to cash in on the mistake. This was not a punter who thought oh, those seem like good odds, I'll have a bet. He knew that mathematically it was an error and tried exploit it.

I hope the courts rule against him.
