You wouldnt want to cross the lad i seen him wipe his a$$ with a mates shirt for sitting in his seat i'd hate to see what he would do to some one he didnt like

Few big ins at shark park. Jake Fairclough will be a gun. Have they picked up any tall forwards??? what is the latest on Gullies have they lost any?? They normally pick up some biggish names??
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

Yep!
They will be OK. Sat down with the big Grainge the other night and had a glass of cordial. Fair bit of turnover but he is a man with a plan and will have a good committed squad this year.
Several of the list has had big $$ thrown their way so some blokes will be moving on but lets not forget the year before they had 5 or 6 guys offered a grand a piece from Bordertown.
New oval, new facilities, a few new players and the Eagles will be in the hunt i have no doubt in Round 1.

hmmm but could they be good enough to beat the new unisa side?? we all know how good the buffalos are... even though theyve never played a game! lucky theyve only been put in div 7
or maybe if gaza are running out of players, hey maybe the unisa side could be the reserves side in Div 1!! What an awesome idea
lets make the league setup even more stupider and who gives a rats about existing clubs its unisa 1st, then the new River Torren Ponies Football Club and then all the long serving clubs last

My god, you just don't know when enough is enough, do you? Hadn't you noticed your previous comments regarding the new side and the league deleted?
Best to keep your thoughts on that subject to yourself in future please Marbles.

Re: SAAFL Division 1 2013
meanwhile football discussions is why i logged in
if adelaide uni have 9 sides or something, why would they invest in a clubroom, consider the revenue intake of 9 teams coming back to the club
why give all that revenue to the havelock or wherever they go now??
has it ever been consider to build behind the grandstand on uni oval??

Has been - several problems that include the fact it's on Adelaide City Council parklands, the attached grandstand is heritage listed and any upgrades must not change its amenity and heritage value and, as a club, we're not that rich.
We've built a small bar/clubroom in the old upstairs room that overlooks Uni Oval - this will increase revenue a bit.
We're now at the Cumberland Arms too.
