Should be a decent hit out. RSMU look to be an improved side on the one that missed finals last year. They picked up Sam Milne who I would expect to be extremely decent at this level.

RSMU played finals in 2020, were knocked out by Min-Man in the 1st semi

Virginia vs Barmera Monash this Saturday in Virginia.

How is Virginia looking?? BMFC hoping it will be a closer encounter than the hit out they had with Southern Saints...... Got steam rolled!!

Two Wells have the saints on Saturday, Where I don't know, Saints are meant to be one of the favourites this season in NEFL/

They were pretty impressive & have some big boys out there who can play!! Made it look like a training session at times. Barmera had alot of their keys out but Saints looked the goods. But then again, you can't too much out of trials haha.

I’m guesssing one of the big boys who dominated was Justin Hardy.

What has gone on at United over summer? Exit transfer requests for at least 15 regular A Grade players

Was a good physical hit out. Both teams had a couple players out. Saints were a lot taller but two wells adapted with the players they had. Ended up being a draw.

Is it fair to say the league has had limited activity on the transfers 6 days out from round 1
some big games this week very hard to see whats going to happen based on transfers.
thoughts?

They should separate them, you can't tell if they are kids, girls, internal transfers or seniors, unless you know the player there is no way of forming an opinion.

Balaklava v Mallala
- Absolute match of the round!
BALAK by 5 points

United v Hamley Bridge
- Is there anyone else left at Long Plains? Upset brewing!

Reading a article today about Sam Newman cancelling SA shows due to clubs getting objection phone calls etc, probably by people who have never been to the clubs, just wondered if this was the case at Balaklava? People don't like him they don't have to see him, why clubs cancelling due to public pressure I cant understand.

It's a ballsy move to invite such a controversial public figure, especially given his stance on the Eddie McGuire situation amongst other delicate matters, he doesn't come cheap either, perhaps he's had strong threats made against him if he does come across.

When I ran a club I managed to do a few of these sort of nights, they can generate some decent coin, I secured Greg Ritchie/Mahatma Cote, Mark "Jacko" Jackson, Chopper Reid, Warwick Capper, Peter Bosustow and a couple more that escape me atm, Ritchie was by far the most entertaining, he was more entertaining as a person than him as his alias.

I hear the Nixon is doing the rounds atm, you couldn't pay me to see him, it's a disgrace IMO.
