Re: Things that you rate!
Following a fire truck home last night, approaching a car on the other side of the road with a woman by its side and the car on a jack, flat tyre.
Fireys pulled over to help, the look on the womans face was priceless, somewhere between embarrassment and winning the lotto.
Given we were in Edinburgh i reckon it would be the Elizabeth crew so definitely rate them, good job lads.

Yes, sleep at night knowing Biden was a better option.
He does give great material for one of my favourite shows: Planet America
And the Donald impersonators on AGT are fantastic
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I don't envisage that he will get the Republican nomination.
He will run though.

Re: Things that you rate!
I firstly dropped 10KG between June-September during appoints at the RAH. The last 22kg I have been on Opti fast for the past 4 weeks. So its just a 1/2 a shake for breakfast and lunch. I have had half an optifast bar for morning tea and its my dessert and plain leafy greens stir-fry. I haven't had a soft drink for 4 weeks. The hardest part was the beginning and going to the Bloods B&F, I ate the vego option and I had only water all nightBrodlach wrote:Great work JT, how have you done that.

Re: Things that you rate!
this could go in things that make you nervous?
just been approved for 3 months leave without pay. heading out from my government job, that ive had nearly 17 years, to have a crack back in the "real world" lol
was offered a job, that im not sure i can do, but the pay/conditions/flexibility are just too good to not give it a go.
hopefully, it all works out, as it will certainly help with the bills, and with the kids wanting to do all the sports. no more 4 minute drive each way to work. will be more like a 45 second walk from the bedroom to the office.

the leave i applied for is called a "career break" and its all legit apparently (well, at least in this government department it is)
it is supposedly frowned upon, as everyone that it had to be approved by told me not to hold my breath as it was passed up the chain, but it was just approved earlier. so maybe my luck is changing, or they are sick of me and want a break from me too, lol
if it goes well over the next three months, then ill have a decision to make. either stay with the new job, or return back here...

If you want to go quickly, go alone.
