Re: North Melbourne
Just listened to the full interview, as usual the media highlight the bit that will get clicks, he said Noble has 2-3 years to get the team into a position to challenge for top 4, not make it.

Not sure he’ll get picked up.
Has talent but is just horribly lazy.

That can hardly be considered any less fanciful than the comment highlighted.

A few years too young for Geelong to recruit him.

He would be better off staying at North and winning a flag or 2 in a few years and then going to Geelong.

As was Gale's call of 3 flags by 2020.
He also said it is very hard to put a time frame on these things, that didn't make the quote.

Re: North Melbourne
Gale said it in 2010 so it was a 10 year plan and Richmond had started showing signs of improvement. North don’t look to have bottomed out yet, they will be competing with us for the spoonDutchy wrote:Booney wrote:Dutchy wrote:Just listened to the full interview, as usual the media highlight the bit that will get clicks, he said Noble has 2-3 years to get the team into a position to challenge for top 4, not make it.

From what I’m hearing, things are far more dire at Essendon right now.
I expect North to comfortably have more wins and be nowhere near finishing bottom.

Re: North Melbourne
Agree, happy for people to write us off, but I think we are in a much better position than people actually think.
Bit like our financial position.
