Just listened to the full interview, as usual the media highlight the bit that will get clicks, he said Noble has 2-3 years to get the team into a position to challenge for top 4, not make it.

Gale said it in 2010 so it was a 10 year plan and Richmond had started showing signs of improvement. North don’t look to have bottomed out yet, they will be competing with us for the spoon

From what I’m hearing, things are far more dire at Essendon right now.
I expect North to comfortably have more wins and be nowhere near finishing bottom.
