Moral of the story is NO ONE is entering SAAFL in D5 next season - they will be placed higher or lower depending who they are. This is fact.

at this stage no club is joining saafl and there will be 9 teams in div 5, so you might wanna finish 3rd in div 6 and youll also get promoted cos 3 teams will have to go up #inglefarm

anyways any idiot who votes no to brighton leaving will assist their club in remaining in 30 goal noncompetitive victories every second week for another 5 years

Brighton play cove, morphie park, reynella, flaggies and christies in the next 5 games. If they win ANY of those games by 30 goals i'll eat me hat!

Sure there are some inequities in the comp but when you play the lesser teams it gives you an opportunity to rest blokes and have a look at some youth.
Marbles you peddle some tripe.

13 goal win over cove today almost 30 goals :D

Discussions were going well until the c9afl refused to allow marion to enforce its usual gate entry fees whereas the rams committee felt it was detrimental to the clubs future to charge its members a substantial entry fee to witness its own side being smashed by margins to the tune of up to 20 to 30 goals every 2nd week

Certainly jolly good footballing entertainment for any long serving marion club or family member and certainly an event that should not be given away for free

Such revenue keeps the club alive by raping the wallets of visiting players and personnel at the gate, as the risk of actually winning football matches in div 7 and possibly drawing bigger crowds and smiles to the clubrooms due to happy belated victories wasnt deemed as revenue worthy for our loyal ongoing club members who have witnessed nearly 90 losses and 10 wins in the past 6 years.

We will not be seeking success anytime soon but we will be raising gate fees by $1 just to make your day just that little bit more depressing haha :D

I was afraid that would happen - Morphie Parks might stay also so not much will change by the look.

Ventured down to Happy Valley Saturday and was quite shocked, not much of a crowd under the Veranda and As, and Bs both played OK in patches but not much desire at the contest as you would normally expect.

Clearly under the assumption that they can stay in the SFL. How different would their thought process be if they weren't guaranteed a spot back in the SFL. What a load of garbage this whole situation is. Can someone please grow a set!

I can see the next 12 months going in a couple of different ways
1 - SFL makes no or some token changes and a minimum of half the existing clubs start actively looking at other leagues
2 - SFL makes substantial changes which may affect the future of Lonsdale, Hackham, and Marion, MVP go to amateurs, Brighton stay because now the league is better and the remaining clubs prosper with a decent competition
Your choice SFL

I wonder how option 2 would effect Aldinga. Potentially winless seasons?
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

My mail has this occurred due to complaint from Flaggies finishing minor premier last year playing the Shoes at the Shoe and getting belted by 10 !! That game could of been played on the moon and the same result would of occurred .

The SFL have made a dogs breakfast , for example do we implement the same with the Sunday comp with Flaggies ,H Valley hosting finals?
I have said before "if your good enough you can play anywhere" Or is this a sign of a soft underbelly!! :-?
