Most comprehensive whiteboard session Ive done pre-match all year, in the meeting room of a SANFL club, go to rub it off.....uh oh! :oops:

4 of us with spray and whiteboard markers got it off eventually!

53817 was displayed by the SMA Friday night and it was also in match report on AFL.com.au

The AFL spent years at Football Park and initially at AO trying to get the crowd figure counted the same way as the AFL have it done at all the grounds (not counting free tickets and staff working at the oval in the total figure. That's why at AAMI and AO the crowd figure was always reduced after the game in line with what the AFL released

The figure released by the SMA has not included staff for a long time, definitely not the case this year so the original 53,817 stood and it's still 119 ahead of the next largest official crowd. And Geelong continue to draw higher averages to AO than Port do.

Both got the same reply, "Nothing to do with me, call your mother/daughter. I don't have time for this, with SA Footy, Tatts.com and work I'm flat out"
