I snuck $10 on AOJ with Boombet @ $26. Market adjusted quickly after that.

Why do you want Sykes to be AOJ if he's not riding?

Re: Jockey Challenge
Early morning drama at Kyneton with Mott and McLeod out.
TABTouch and Neds have markets up and I've been dabbling a bit with J Allen (AOJ with TAB) representing value at the moment.
Newitt also picked up a ride in the first and I took a punt that Ethan Brown might pick up a ride or two but that hasn't eventuated.
Williams at Huxtable out at Gatton too so seeing if any bookie goes up with them framed in the markets. Early start!

Re: Jockey Challenge
NEDS up with Huxtable $8. Nibbled JP Stanley and S Collett thinking they may benefit from vacant rides but so tiny because I'm guessing.

Re: Jockey Challenge
PB went up $26 Stanley. Neds have him $6. PB wound him in to $14. Still nibbling at that too...

Re: Jockey Challenge
$51 would have been nice Stanley.
Just goes to show in a low scoring day how much picking up 1 ride can change the market'
Stanley $51 prior to r2 pick up. Now $5.5
Perhaps Neds slow or more likely system didnt pick up JUSTIN P STANLEY..... when manually entered after jock change I reckon if its not typed identical the system doesnt pick it up (has now obv.)

Re: Jockey Challenge
If froggy is a genuine 8.5 chance 'IF" (tab/toppie) then 3.90 probably value the PLACE ?

Re: Jockey Challenge
Sorry lads I'm all over the place this morning. Still not sure the dust has settled. In summary -
Kyneton: McLeod not riding. Mott appears to only have one ride left in R4 and I can't imagine him even taking that up. Mott still in a lot of JC markets for some reason, including Boombet for those able to bet into that market.
John Allen and Liam Riordan (AOJ with most) have picked up most of the rides, while Newitt and B Allen also picked one up. So Newitt a big move $19 into $8.50-$11. B Allen $9.50 into $7.25. No real effect on favourite Billy Egan at $2.20 or so.
Gatton: Huxtable and Williams out. This caused market chaos but Tilley picked up two rides and remains a solid $2 favourite. Stanley opened at $19 NEDS which I took given his quality and lack of rides at the meet. Then PB opened with him at $23 and they let me on for a little bit and wound him into $14. I went again twice given NEDS has Stanley at $6 all of a sudden. But then fluctuated back out to $61, which I didn't understand so took another $5EW on that. I also had $2.50EW on S Collett at $126 hoping she'd pick up a ride, which she did.
After all that chaos, here's where I'm at:
Kyneton bets:
AOJ $45 @ $5.65 (includes Allen and Riordan) TABTouch/TopSport
J Allen $5EW @ $67/$14 NEDS
L Riordan $5EW @ $46/$10 NEDS
B Allen $50 @ $9.50 - Boombet
C Newitt $20 @ $19 TABTouch
Gatton bets:
J Stanley $46 @ $22.5W and $15 @ $7P.
S Collett $2.5EW @ $126/$20
I need to get a coffee and work out where this leaves me as I'm extremely exposed now.
Markets:
Kyneton
BILLY EGAN 2.05
ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL JOCKEY 6.00
LUKE CARTWRIGHT 7.00
BEN ALLEN 7.50
NEIL FARLEY 8.50
