I did a heads up at the AGM, and found most clubs wanted Saturday/Sunday finals, then find out tonight that they have gone against the clubs wishes and have kept status quo.
Can someone please explain this? Why do we fill in survey forms if they are ignored?

How do you know what was on every club's survey forms?

PS I'm not on the exec anymore so you can't blame me for anything ;)

Well why would the delegates say different to what was on the survey forms?

I hope the Exec inform all clubs the outcome of the survey forms and if the Executive over rule the clubs again, then I think we deserve to be told why.

Have not seen the draw or the survey results but when would the spare day for finals be if we played Sat/ Sun finals?

But there was no vote at the AGM so how do you know what the delegates thought? Plus I remember you agreeing at the AGM to the process of following the forms rather than going by what the delegates said, so why are you making a big deal out of this situation without knowing the full facts?

By the way, I have no idea what the forms said either.

Magpies96, is it possible that the majority wanted Saturday to Saturday finals when it came4 to the crunch? Best thing to do is get on the blower and speak to the Exec about it. ;) Just because feedback is provided, it's not a given that every suggestion will be implemented. But rest assured that all feedback provided will be taken onboard and considered. Big difference. ;)

I am not sure i will have to look back at all posts but i believe this is the first time some one from Vi$ta has made any sense on this forum.

Magpies if you are from fitzroy i believe you guys wanted the spare day so if we got heated out over two weekend's you could still get a game in. If we change to Sat/Sun finals this could not happen.

Having Sat/Sun finals doesnt allow for a spare day, but it does shorten the finishing of the season so surely there would be no issue with finishing a game the following Sat?
