starc definitely polished the turd. that was our middle session.
Warney was trying to talk it up saying that 250 was a par score on this pitch, but I cant help but think the Indians will attack lyon and one of them will get a decent score, and they will get at least 350

That will be at the least the minimum score for the Indians. Anything less and Kohli will probably murder someone he he.

Almost the way you should approach spin. Yeah it was a handy innings. I think we really need to "choke" India when we bowl and not give them a chance to build partnerships. Because as we have seen. They can make a lot of runs very quickly. I'm quite nervous about Lyon's chances of taking lots of wickets. But O'Keefe has the chances with his variations. How many variations does Agar have in his spin bowling?
I like SOK but he has two variations. The straight one and the one that goes on straight[emoji3]

Playing Mitch Marsh was a mistake. they had to play Maxxy as the All rounder. He would've attacked the the spinners and gave us an extra option with the ball. Mitch Marsh will bowl stuff all

Maxwell averaging 24 at SS this season, doubt he is capable of even getting to double figures at test level.

Should've just held a reality show where the contestants get voted off and then the remaining 11 get the nod............................oops they done that Wednesday night at Adelaide Oval.
India will make 400+, the pitch wasnt a disaster as shown by most of the top 6 batting for a while and India will murder Lyon and O'keefe, The only hope is Starc and Hazlewood with reverse swing destroying them.

You may be right, but cannot judge the pitch until both teams have batted. It will be interesting to see how Smith uses Starc and Hazlewood. I expect they will have a crack with the new ball, but if they don't get a wicket he might park them until around over number 25 when it starts reversing. Love to see Starc get a couple of quick ones and have an early look at Kohli.
Indians won't get 400. Its when the ball reverse swings that it's hard to play. And Starc around the wicket with The ball reverse swinging that much is almost unplayable
Bombers4EVA wrote:How are the Indians against the short stuff? Will the pitch allow Starc and Hoff to bowl short?
wade's lbw would have hit him in the head on aussie pitches
Then that says everything. We can't intimidate them with chin music. Damn,
starc is a couple of yards quicker too though, so that will help. Hazelwood should be able to get it reversing too. Indians made a mistake taking the new ball last night, the old one was hooping around, and the new one just allowed starc to hit it to the boundary quicker
