The way he played toward the end of his tenure at The Ponderosa indicated he wasn't a believer in the game plan. He wasn't Robinson Crusoe.

Lets be honest. As admirable and stoic as Laird was, his anti AFL stance has reflected into the way he coaches and the club has suffered in recent years to to keep up with the times. You only need to see that the last 8 grand finals, bar one perhaps ?, have had coaches with AFL influence.

he is a huge priority but we find it hard to compete when we can't offer players jobs with huge salaries.

Nice kid Josh but there are modified diets in Nursing homes harder than him....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

If any other clubs are thinking about changing the name of their oval perhaps they could consider changing to

Johann Gambolputty de von Ausfern- schplenden- schlitter- crasscrenbon- fried- digger- dingle- dangle- dongle- dungle- burstein- von- knacker- thrasher- apple- banger- horowitz- ticolensic- grander- knotty- spelltinkle- grandlich- grumblemeyer- spelterwasser- kurstlich- himbleeisen- bahnwagen- gutenabend- bitte- ein- nürnburger- bratwustle- gerspurten- mitz- weimache- luber- hundsfut- gumberaber- shönedanker- kalbsfleisch- mittler- aucher von Hautkopft of Ulm stadium

That stinky mud mixed with deep heat was the smell of my childhood running around the change rooms.... best smell in the world!

I was more so thinking your clubs ground due to the quality of clientele who frequent it ;)

Great Pick up by the legs in Dougie. With him and Bastinca in to join Grigg, Panos, Nunn forms a very strong midfield
