That sounds pretty reasonable to me. Out of interest who are your awards named after RM?

A - Herb Cochrane
B - Geoff Hardy
c - Jack Voyzey
D - Tim Clark

Has anyone seen a list for the umps for this weekend ?

Cheers for that RM. I thought Hardy and Voyzey would have one named after them but i haven't heard of the other two guys obviously great servants of the club as Hardy and Voyzey are. I know we have Russ Hewett and Tony Fromene and i know Andrew Wright has the section 2 game not sure of any others.

On that note good luck to every other side playing on the last weekend of march, except the sharks ;)

I think the best system would probably be a 3-2-1 system voted by the 11 players in the side. Because team mates no what role everyone else has done for the side. eg: bowlinga tight spell that has got wickets for someone else. I just cant see the logic as having the B&F voted by opposition captains. I would understand if there votes are included but not just them alone ...
Ahwells woodubelieve, may be arrogant but atleast we have some team harmony and people that wana play for our club, unlike you and bulldogs007 is that right?? lol Now keep talking about ur mate Ross Moore and his diving or something ridicolous

You must have me confused with someone else, i'm very happy being at the bulldogs, have been my whole life....
We don't have B&F for the individual sides, we have a batting, bowling, fielding and all-rounder.. he votes go to the McGee Medal.... Which is probably the best medal to win in footy and cricket.... Never used to be done by votes, there was a points system, going on runs, wickets and catches.... The voting system just came in about 2-3 seasons ago......

We have a seperate award for this and is called the "allrounder". It is open to anyone who plays in any grade, which is different obviously to our "A Grade" cricketer of the year. With the oppo captains being solely responsible for an award, i believe it takes away from the prestige of the award IMO. I would be much "prouder", for the lack of a better word to win an award that my team mates vote on rather than the opposition captains.

WYC had a disappointing day with the bat after a bright start by J Whenan(34) and Press(23). We ended up being bowled out for 123. Russell King also deserves special mention for his 25 after copping a Sampson bouncer in the jaw, which is probably broken, but went out to bat again after retiring hurt. We had 28 overs to bowl and we fielded briliiantly and bowled very well we currently have the sharks 6/71. This game is really in the balance and it will be a ripper of a days play tomorrow, hopefully :D .

Great result for Plympton there. Not sure about ur bowling attack but 224 in a GF is massive. WYC is anyones game, but we got the runs on the board so hopefully ICC struggle with that.
Be interesting too see the end result of div 2 game.
