There have only been a few recent matches where a wrestler is vying for the major title in WWE, and not been given a chance.

Outside of R-Truth taking on Cena at Capitol Punishment and getting buried, the last would have been the Tables Match against Sheamus, who surprise surprise, went over Cena to become WWE Champ and end up as the number 2 face in the company.
Write off Ryback at your peril, I'm tipping him to get the belt.

Not writing him off... He's just not ready for the belt imo

The Survivor Series PPV (November 18) is next, and on the first RAW after Hell in a Cell, the first match, the RAW survivor series match, has been annonced. I will take the spoiler off this after work today, when it has aired:
Team CM Punk: WWE Champ CM Punk, The Miz, Alberto Del Rio and Team Rhodes Scholars, versus Team Mick Foley: Ryback, Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston, Randy Orton and WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No.

Seeing as though RAW is the pre-eminent Brand, and seeing as though a certain superstar with a penchant for closing every WWE PPV is not listed, I assume next weeks RAW will feature something special. By special I mean a Brock Lesnar return...

I will also answer my question above this arvo, that sort of stuff mightn't interest anyone, seeing as though I didn't get any bites.

Geppscrossrams got it, Kevin Nash was the fourth and final winner of WCW's themed World War 3 (60-man, 3-ring battle royal).

Will give a hint next time.
