Boys don't buy into that shit!
Dew and Francou are not playing footy for kersbrook - Roger James will only be playing a handful of games due to his knee (he still cant walk on cold mornings).
Yes I realise the connection between all the boys and the cricket stories however lets get a little serious.
Next Wayne Carey's quitting Fox Footy to play CHF for Birdwood!
If someone can undeniably show me proof of Francou, Dew and both James playing then I will eat my own head in amazement! I want to see clearance forms not general rumour mill banter!
God the last stupid things I heard was G Wanganeen playing for both Salis West and Salis Nth, I spoke to him and he isn't playing anywhere and has not even spoken to anyone about playing!

yeah i think ur right augg. went out to watch the game at gawler and they actually didnt play all that well, if barossa had kicked straight they would have won comfortably. when it was quite clear that hills had a much more talented side. a few of us nailed a carton of beam cans and then strolled in to the clubrooms and received a free parmi. NICE! highlight definately scottie huffs snap from boundary, or matt stapes' kick out from full back straight to the FF.

nice one gts,
i also went to the game with some beers. missed out on a free parmy tho!!
i thought matt thomas played well. was scottie huff the bloke who snapped the goal at
the top end from pretty much the boundary?!
a young bloke named liam (wears a helmet) played a great game.
he's from the country division also. i think there was 4 or 5 players.
actually cancel that, matt thomas played sh!t

FM was close GTS. got his red and whites mixed up.
I went to a fight the other night, and a hockey game broke out. - Rodney Dangerfield (1921 - 2004)

The Ironbank v Kangarilla trial is now on the 18th a Sunday! Happy Valley Oval. Think b grade will be getting under way around 6ish then whever after that for the a grade. May end up being a bit of both grades in the team on the park and have it play for 6 qtrs. Trials are always a bit hit and miss. Might be able to get a reading into the Div 1 Div 2 argument then again it is only a trial.
Also trials for IB against Goolwa at Ironbank on the 24th and then up at Renmark on 31st.

Damien King would have to be the best i've played with, the guy is a genuine freak, if he had pace he would shred the afl, was better than Roger James through out their juniors i hear.
Munday, James May, Jason Sziller/King all nutters.
The training i was at with L Munday was Caulfield Grammar

GTS... good question. i would say size of oval and the lights. it is a quality oval for footy. jst way too big to go chasing cricket balls on
i think both teams wanted to play at home but in the end Happy Valley was agreed upon.
m80 - lucky you aint playing at morphetville park oval.. played there few times in SFL and its a dead set pasty.. one sideline is pretty much a straight line.

The Ironbank v Kangarilla trial is at Happy Valley for the lights, but also it is the last day of the Cricket Grand final! Both Kangarilla and Ironbank are unavailable due to cricket finals where Happy Valley have that new rubber cover over the permanent matting they have been using for the 20/20 footy.
