Yeah only because they will not be able to fill the Section 6 side
And going by the past couple of years will struggle to field a B side.FACT
You wouldn't know a fact if it hit you in the face SB. Seriously your issue with Cove is laughable.
The subject to change part is not a concern for Cove's sides or player numbers but based on what other clubs are doing in the grades above them which possibly will move them either up or down.
They fielded a C grade side last year for 7 of the 12 games and the b's played the whole year, as far as i understand, albeit with a young side. Cove will grow as a result of joining ASCA can the same be said for the clubs staying in SCA?
So they forfeited nearly half of thier games, must be a pretty strong and professional club then, how would the ASCA take to this happening in their comp? Surely you can get juniors to fill the numbers

SB - keep your sour grapes for cove down at Noarlunga. The only club on this forum you can bag is wyc.
Very true MPF we are feeling left out of all this anger.
Ahh, now that's a better topic.
But I think Shoe Boy needs to do a little research around his own club hierachy before he says too much more. He may have a lot of egg on his face come 2011/12 season. I don't believe his views are consistent with those in charge at NCC.

Well knock me over. I thought I was part of the executive.
I thought he was in charge, certainly sounds like he's in charge...

So you are saying everyone on NCC committee agrees with your views?

From an excucutive point of view we are part of the SCA and will continue to do so. I cant speak for all and am sure some have another slant on what they feel is in the best interest of the NCC.

We take the appropriate action if and when a club finds itself in a spot like Cove obviously did last year with their numbers for their C grade side. We expect them and i think the Sheidow boys are resigned to the fact some of their players will be going back to Cove to play.
I would think they acted responsibly by telling us openly about their numbers and how they expect to keep us informed of their progress with their third side.

Is it true SB that the NCC made enquiries to the GSCA, prior to last season, about the possibility of joining that comp?

I like how it took a WYC comment to get u to reply AF
Im happy that Cove have come into our comp and into Section 1 aswell. As a club, WYC were fully behind Cove coming into Section 1, and into our comp, and it will only strengthen our association!
BUt now they are definitely the enemy and hopefully we can knock em off come the time we play them.
