Thanks for the responses some options I hadnt thought of, also just thought that SEN might be worth listening into with footy starting back up.

Just dont like FM breakfast radio as they hardly play any music.

I listen to Fresh all day, mornings are awesome. Best station by a mile, plus you get to hear the new music 3 months before the commercial stations start playing them.

I thougt it was pretty funny and quite accurate but would be lost on MMM listeners. Not sure he will last very long

Moving stations will be proven to be a bad move.

I'll give him 12 months to two years and then he'll be gone.

FM breakfast crews are not bastions of stability...

I thought starting his career at MMM with the same old stuff he used on AA was a mistake.

If the move is to work, he needs to freshen up his act.

it does seem a little odd, that Blakey is choosing to start with new employers by completely bagging his previous employers.

and also as mentioned above, him imitating AA personalities will be lost with many of the MMM listeners and they may in fact switch stations

Blakey is the pensioner version of Kyle Sandilands. He's never got anything nice to say about anyone. A very bitter old man.

Yes I couldnt believe what he said about hanging out in kiddies playgrounds surely he will cop some heat for that one.

I quite liked him on AA and I think that was good for him as the discussion was pretty serious most of the time, but it wont have the same impact on FM radio.

Also agree not sure why so much focus was on his old job, surely a fresh start means a fresh focus?
