Says it all really where the direction and interest the sanfl is going with the public .
People want grassroots footy without AFL dictatorship .
.... But we are still told crowds are up and there is more interest in the sanfl than ever before.
South v SANFL clubs- 12 wins, 4 losses, average losing margin 10 points South v AFL clubs- 1 win, 5 losses, average losing margin 42 points. The 1 win came against a depleted Port late last season Have really struggled to kick goals against the AFL sides, our full press/flood seeing us repeatedly breaking down at CHF due to a lack of options, the first half of the prelim being an exception.

Who would have thought the SANFL would ever have significant competition from the leagues underneath it?
Sign of the times and they way the SANFL have treated its core fans.
No surprise that the local footy is getting bigger crowds in the last 2 years.
