Congratulations to Red Devils and SA Rapids who are promoted to Hogg Division IV next season after winning their Qualifying Finals on the weekend. The other two promotion spots up for grabs are between brettsrazorbacks, woollballs and HereComesTheSuns as Herb is already in Division IV. The kid SA Rapids was very impressive in his finals debut chalking up a handy 2401 but he was upstaged by HereComesTheSuns who smashed the favourites High Beams on their way to posting 2430. Pup was eliminated when Mr Football fell short of Divvy IV side Herb and the Red Devils were too hot to handle for bretty as they were smashed in their final and look long odds to turn it around this week.

In the Semis HereComesTheSuns will start a strong favourite against brettsrazorbacks and woolballs should be able to beat Herbs'N'Spices in the other final. The winners of these two semis will join Red Devils and SA Rapids in Division IV next season.

Congratulations to HereComesTheSuns and woolballs for earning promotion to Hogg Division IV next season. The Suns won through easily against the disappointing razorbacks and as Herb is already in Divvy IV the last spot went to the woolballs who finished 5th. In next week's Prelims HereComesTheSuns face the kid SA Rapids while Herbs'N'Spices faces a tough test against the reigning premier Red Devils.

It was a scoring bonanza in SuperCoach last week but not so in our lowest division with all four finalists failing to flatter. In the Granny it will be Herb and the kid after they won through pretty comfortably in a pair of one sided Grand Final. Herbie is about seven feet tall and SA Rapids is Brodlach Jnr so there is a real David vs. Goliath feel about this weekend's upcoming Grand Final. I reckon David might get up again as SA Rapids have been the more consistent side all year.
