Cut Redden some slack, 25% of his taps went down Snooky's throat...

It was on rinse repeat yesterday Redden gets the tap, Matt Snook from Glenelg gets the clearance and the Bays are away, again....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Topshelf whats the other oval you refer to re free kicks.

We are already preparing for free kick Eagles when we play them there in 2 weeks .

Norwood Oval, those two stand out to me but I will admit I am pretty biased.

"Not the first time this has happened either over the last few years…"

Well, in the past few years Redden hasn't played. Previously he played a dominant role in 2 GF wins.

He’s been a magnificent player over a long period, but the experiment that sees him back this year has backfired (based on Sunday’s effort). He’s not up to this level anymore, highlighted by the Bays running Gould against him who I doubt has ever played ruck before and is significantly shorter. It was actually a bit sad to watch.

Gould was a junior ruck, think he hit puberty at 4 or 5

He's arguably been the dominate ruck over the last 10 years in the SANFL. Whilst the others like Boyd and McCree have gone past him recently he still show glimpses of his old form. The one handed mark he took in the last qtr on Sunday and general ball handling skills make him a weapon if he gets in space.

"One of two ovals in the league that you can guarantee we won't get a fair go at IMO."

The free kick count was 23 to 22, Eagles way.

I’ve always been bemused with people’s perceptions of frees. I know of no Law or directive that states that there must be an equal number of frees to both sides. Furthermore, if one side gets more frees then one can’t really make any judgements on their merit without actually having watched that particular match.

Same with possessions. Just amassing possessions sometimes gives little indication of how well someone has played (insert exhibit A - Kane Cornes).

Whilst I’ve observed and commented on more than one occasion in the past that the Eagles are sometimes kissed on the dick by the umpiring angels, the umpiring in Sunday’s match seemed equally good and bad on occasions to both teams, so the umpiring angels didn't do any overt kissing that I can recall.

The disclaimer is that I watched the telecast so wasn’t at the ground, which sometimes can significantly skew one’s perception.

I don't remember in my Sunday school class anything about angels kissing dicks. You must have got the adult Bible.
