Why is a clean catch replayed 500 times?
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

Strikers with an under par 8/155 in their first home game, Nielson batted at 9 as he is carrying a finger injury and made a golden duck.

Think by the lone post it shows the lack of interest anymore, we have a very ordinary side who will be bottom two. Strikers games would normally have pages of comments on here

I'm sure if they start winning again the posts will increase.

I went to my first T20 game in a long time. Disclaimer, it was in a Corp Box for a mate's 50th.

It was pretty boring. I get that it hinges on the first team making a total, but overall it was not high on my 'to do' list again.

I looked and saw tickets were $55! FMD! That's very expensive.

Yeah it felt flat

Interesting to note some of the game experience changes

No dancers (not sure how that goes for the young female audience who are going with Mum and Dad and their brother)
String trio for when the players enter the ground??

Oh and whilst it wasn’t a change per se they kept the Village Green but no WED out back Grrrr!!
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Went last night as well and agree it was flat as a tack, did notice no dancers, no handouts, no Walsh, same old scoreboard visuals/audio etc

Who from the Strikers is taking up cap space? Short, Overton and then who? Surely they aren't paying the full cap with this squad?

Im not sure how the cap works but would Head and Carey have a substantial amount set aside for when they play?
Wood and Hassan are other overseas players on good $. Lynn would take up a fair bit?

Ross being on a list and playing tells you all you need to know about the standard of the Stirkers and of the comp.

Would we be better off not having Head and Carey and recruiting for the whole duration of the comp instead?

Because we are going to be rubbish and have no one of interest.

BBL is one of those comps. If your team brings in some big names or looks like it will do well it will hold interest.

If the team is shite there isnt much to be excited about, not like footy where you watch with next year in mind and younger player development ect.

I personally don’t like T20 so have not even looked at the squad

Another good prediction by AE :D

Agree with your sentiments though, our team is very ordinary. Batting brittle, need to win a few games before hopefully Carey and Head come back. Neilson on last year of Daddy’s three year contract so we can finally target a gun batter/keeper next year. List needs major overhaul but not sure how quickly that can be done
I was one match too early

seriously ordinary performance last night looking at the scorecard

they were handing out the regular 4/6 cards, blue santa hats, kfc buckets & blow up clappers, not sure they even had dancers last year?

Strikers need 60 off 36.

Wicket next ball, then Jerssess Wadia from TTG goes 6,6,4,4,2. 24 off 5 balls.

Now 36 off 30 and back to favourites.

Then hit two balls in a row and three dot balls
