We need a rule change to stop 36 players at one end of the ground.

Lot of people sinking the boot in here. North got to the GF by playing excellent footy for three weeks in the finals. Came up against a side that plays a lock down style of football and they play it very very well. North just couldn't create enough space and that is huge credit to the best side in the comp. Norwood well deserved premiers being a mile ahead of the rest. No other side would have done better than North did today.

Get your hand off it. I don't know of too many North supporters that actually thought we were going to win. We were all hoping we would but the reality was and is that Norwood are a far better side and the end result was not a shock to anyone.

Good post mate, and genuine commiserations. Norwood were far better rested but even we had blokes cramping up. I fear for result had North not blown their double chance. IMHO they were the only team with a chance of beating us this year (not meant in a big headed manner).

Must admit Francou's tactics surprised me today.
I think most Norwood supporters were more than happy to see Johnston playing as a loose man inside their defensive 50 in the first quarter when they had the breeze.
Before the game North's size in their forward line with the combo of Johnston and Stewart was my biggest concern.
We didnt control the midfield like I thought we would but I thought our back 6 held up well.
Unfortunately this may be the end of our good run, can see atleast a dozen of today's side not being at the club next year

Well done to Norwood, easily the best team all year so they are deserved premiers
