I have actually been really enjoying this series. Great chance to actually see the young talent on display before we blood or recycle our 4 or 5 new Test players this Summer. Obviously disappointing they didn't show the second dig last night and haven't televised every Redbacks game but all in all it's been good. I like the 9.30 starts and the lively opening spells and I'm loving how competitive the comp has been.

Most of all the commentary has been like old times. Complimenting the play and adding to the pictures not the self absorbed wank fest of messers Warne, Healy, Slater and of course that **** Brayshaw. No ones trying to out do, out yell, one up, and all the other juvenile over the top crap where the crickets secondary to the side show.

Well done Chappelli, Moody and co. I don't need 7 hours of the footy show when the cricket is on. The crickets been good and the commentators have let it do the talking just like the great R Beneud would. I hope this trend continues for the Summer. Arc up the circus for 20/20, that's fine but otherwise I hope we are seeing a new direction.

I'm also having a red hot run on the punt went I'm not cashing out on the Redbacks.

And there has only been 2 in the commentary box rather than 4. Which is why they can't carry on like gooses. Need more of that.

This format would be great if it moved state every year.

Must admit I don't get out to district venues but if in SA they would play the games at AO, Gliderol and what other venues if required?

Surely most of the district venues would be suitable pitch wise, though I am guessing there.

Would also guess that the biggest issues may be broadcast infrastructure - for cameras and commentary etc

Games would need fences around them and we don't have the population to have anyone turn up. Looked like a decent crowd today

How many turn up to a non nsw game?

Attendances are way down on the priorities with making the series like this.

If we can't beat them then we clearly don't deserve to be in a Final or probably the comp.

Woodville and Prospect would be 2 other fenced grounds but have the small issue of winter sports like Glenelg.

Also The North Sydney Oval you see on TV is only used by the first team for cricket. The 2's when at home play on the number 2 oval.

It is all for tv, that is the main priority.

Personally, I would like to see them revert to the old system, where you play a four day Shield game, then have a rest day, then play a one day game. End up playing each team home and away and twice in each comp.

Doubt it will happen again though. If you played NSW vs SA at Adelaide Oval in a one day game, think you would get a decent crowd.

Think he was referring to AO. I Work from 3 locations.

I'm not sure I will see a worse decision than the LBW given in today's game. Some kid swept the ball to short fine, took off for the run and was given. The ball didn't even hit his pad. Fair effort not to spray the umpire. That's the kind of decision where technology does do a good job. Dead set howler that if it happened at club level the C word would make an appearance for sure.
