The Redback game is not televised but thankfully SA can watch Qld v WA
I'm more than a bit worried as a couple of the CA XI batters looked alright today. Probably our biggest One day game since winning the final a few years ago. Going to be a nervous day checking scores 700 times.
Cmon lads let's get this done

That's a bit funny when I started the thread the SA vs CA XI game was to be shown on Gem but they've obviously since decided to change it.

I'm going off the TV guide button on my remote. I'd love it to be wrong.

The Cricket Australia app says WA v QLD will be televised.

Yep just checked CA's website and the little WWOS logo that was next to SA vs CA XI is now just a CA logo
FWIW, Cricket Victoria have suspended Glenn Maxwell for tomorrow's game against Tassie for missing a team recovery session.

Could people please keep their traps shut today? Let's not get our usual curse going in this crucial game...

Off for rain at the moment, 3/150 after 35 overs.
Got one of those bad feelings that we will get screwed over by the Duckworth Lewis system today!!

Match reduced to 49 now. Time to up the anti and press on. We need to get close to 250 and early wickets will be golden.

Why reduce match by one over?? I know they have rules they have to stick too, but common sense would say you still have time to play the full 50 overs.

Damn straight. Two overs take seven or eight minutes.

Only takes the umpires a moment or two to say "No mate, it's 2 overs 'til drinks, change your gloves then", or "Why are you blokes throwing it from deep long on to the 'keeper every time there's a single?"
Get on with it. Umpires allow far too many liberties in todays games.

The throwing to the keeper when it's pushed to mid off annoys the hell out of me, I can understand it for the first 10 overs prepping the keeper but it's a time waster after that.

Not necessarily it could be a deliberate tactic if the fielding side have a specialist ball polisher at cover......in the age of reverse swing shining the ball this is important.....
